There were significant challenges with extremely low light in many of these images. Digital noise has been reduced as much as possible at this point in these drafts. Several are cropped - most are not. Hospital staff will be blurred. Only a few of these will be selected - as always - because in the final output there will be limited space, no matter which medium is used. However - despite the technical challenges these are some of the most powerful images to date.
