Lexington Kentucky Commemoration of 10th Anniversary of September 11th - 9 11 2011
The September Concert is a community commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of September 11th. The concert is a celebration of peace and humanity through music. Our goal is to bring people together, to reaffirm our hope for peace, and to celebrate life and our universal humanity. Jack Pattie was the host with comments by Mayor Jim Gray and Dr. Emily Craig. Dr, Everrett McCorvey sang the national anthem.
The Kentucky United Pipes and Drums provided stirring and regal music to start the event.
